There isnt an easy answer which is why you are probably debating it in yourhead right now. Listen to your feelings, your gut instinct? what does thattell you? Some times you have to follow your own aspirations and dreams and listen tothe voice within. Things often blow over in time. but tough in the beg.when you are trying to do things.

do what guru sahib is asking u to do...wont be easy...but u ll be at peace that u listen to guru sahib and u ll know for a fact he's with you...
the going will get tough...a number of us have faced similar situations...all i can say is he ll uphold his end of the promise as long as u up hold yrs.

life isn't as serious as we make it to be...enjoy have fun with it and see how this piece of puzzle fits in all of what u do.
but im curious what that hukum is nd what is the family saying. sometimes a person frm outside can see it better then us. i wouldve gotten someone else's perpective on the situation cuz the THOUGHTS OF OUR MIND are limited yet what we really aren't our thoughts and beyond what we seem to be=)
